About the game

Blocks Bay is a single-player block puzzle. You drag shapes onto a grid, fill rows and columns to clear them, and work through levels with their own goals and obstacles. Finishing levels earns stars, stars open new tiles on an island map, and coins let you buy boosters that help on a tough board.

The game is free to play. It offers optional in-app purchases of coins, and it works offline — a network connection is only needed for purchases.

What to include when you write

A few details let us answer on the first reply instead of the third:

Progress and saved data

Where is my progress stored?

On your device only. Blocks Bay has no accounts and no cloud save, so your levels, stars, coins and boosters live in the game’s own storage on the phone or tablet you play on. We never see a copy of it.

Can I move my progress to a new device?

Not at the moment. Because progress is stored locally and is not tied to any account, installing the game on another device starts a new save. We know this matters and it is on our list.

I uninstalled the game (or lost my phone) — can you restore my progress?

We are not able to, because there is no server-side copy to restore from. Deleting the app removes its saved data along with it. If you had bought coins that were still unspent, write to us with the store receipt and we will do what we reasonably can.

Purchases and refunds

I paid but the coins never arrived

First, make sure the device is online and restart the game — a purchase that the store has not finished confirming is credited on the next launch. If the coins are still missing after that, email us with the order number from your Apple or Google receipt and the approximate time of the purchase, and we will sort it out.

Is there a “restore purchases” button?

No, and it would have nothing to restore. Everything sold in Blocks Bay is consumable — coins are spent inside the game — so there are no permanent unlocks or subscriptions to re-apply on a new device.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by the store that took the payment, not by us:

If the store turns your request down and you believe something went wrong on our side, tell us what happened — we will look into it.

How do I stop accidental purchases?

Both platforms can require authentication before every purchase, and can block in-app purchases entirely: Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions on iOS, and Play Store → Settings → Authentication on Android.

Sound and vibration

Open Settings from the gear button on the home screen. Music, sound effects and vibration each have their own switch, and the choice is remembered between sessions. If vibration does nothing after you turn it on, check that haptics are not disabled in your device’s own system settings.

Privacy and your data

What do you collect?

Analytics about how the game is played — events, device and connection information, and pseudonymous identifiers. There are no ads and no advertising identifiers, and we never ask for your name, email or any other detail that identifies you. The Privacy Policy describes all of it in full.

Changing your mind about analytics

You are asked for analytics consent the first time the game runs. To withdraw it afterwards, write to us at the address above or uninstall the app. On iOS, the tracking permission itself is managed by the system: use Manage tracking in the game’s Settings to jump to the relevant iOS screen.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling Blocks Bay removes everything the game stored on your device. To also have your analytics data deleted, email us from the address you are writing about and say so — include your device model and roughly when you played, since without an account those are what let us find the right records. We will confirm once it is done.

Bugs and crashes

If the game crashes, freezes or a level behaves strangely, please report it — with no crash reporting SDK in the app, a message from you is genuinely how we find out. Restarting the game clears most temporary glitches; if one keeps coming back, send us the details listed in What to include and we will chase it down.

Stuck on a level? That is usually a puzzle rather than a bug, but tell us the level number anyway — a level that many players report is one we should rebalance.
